The Weavr API is organised around REST. Our API has predictable resource-oriented URLs, accepts form-encoded request bodies, returns JSON-encoded responses, and uses standard HTTP response codes, authentication, and verbs.
You can use the Weavr API in test mode by using the Build Environment, which does not affect your live data or interact with the banking networks. The Environment used (Build or Production) determines whether the request is in test mode or live mode. The API endpoints and API keys for the two environments are different.
Simulator: Our Build Environment includes a Simulator to simulate external events, for example to simulate the receipt of a bank transfer or to spend a card, so you can test all the functionality of your app in a sandbox environment.
When you register with Weavr, you get an Innovator Account on the Build Environment where you can choose the payment model and configure your application. We will give you access to the Production Environment after reviewing your business (KYB) and your application.
Once you have registered for an Innovator Account and configured your application profiles, it is time to start building your application. Here you will find the API endpoints.
We also offer a webhook connection so that your application can be informed about activity happening on your customer's accounts including deposits and purchases. To explore the Webhook API with Swagger, click here.
