Apple Pay splash screen
This component is on our roadmap. It is not yet available in the React Native SDK. The page below describes the surfaces Apple requires and what the component will do once shipped — until then, build the screens yourself in your app and have our support team review the copy before lab certificationLab certification The formal test pass run by an Apple-affiliated test centre that verifies an issuer app meets Apple Pay's functional, security, and brand requirements. The test exercises every Card Lifecycle Management operation, the in-app provisioning flow, and the Wallet Extension. A successful pass is required before launching Apple Pay on a card programme; most first-time integrations fail at least one item and need a remediation round..
Apple's certification checks for in-app provisioningIn-app provisioning The flow that adds a card to a digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay) from inside an issuer's mobile app, using the issuer's own authentication. In Weavr's stack, in-app provisioning is implemented via our Push Provisioning SDK on iOS or React Native. include three user-facing surfaces that promote Apple Pay inside your app. The Apple Pay splash screen component will render any of the three variants from a single drop-in view, configured to match your brand and copy.
What the component covers
The component will support three variants, switchable at runtime based on user state:
Shown on the home screen at app open after Apple Pay launches, to all users with eligible cards.
- Launch announcement — shown on the home screen at app open after Apple Pay launches, to all users with an eligible card.
- Registration prompt — shown during onboarding when the user's device has no eligible card already in Apple Wallet.
- Post-provisioning — shown when the user returns to your app after successfully adding a card.
For the requirement detail and how the splash screen fits into the broader certification scope, see Apple Pay compliance: primary mobile app.
