Programme configuration

The Configuration area is where you set up everything about a programmeProgramme A programme represents your application within Weavr. Everything you create — Identities, Instruments, Transactions — sits beneath a Programme. When you register as an Embedder, you receive a Programme in the Sandbox and, once approved, one in Production. — workspace metadata, API credentials, identity and instrumentInstrument A financial product owned by an Identity. In Sandbox you can edit configuration freely. In Live the same screens are read-only — you submit changes through Sandbox, then promote them via going live.

The Configuration menu has three top-level sections — General, Identities, InstrumentsInstrument A financial product owned by an Identity. There are two types: Managed Accounts (stored-value accounts that hold balances and can receive wire transfers) and Managed Cards (prepaid cards — virtual or physical — used for purchases)., and Transactions.

General

Workspace details

The landing page of Configuration > General. Set workspace-level metadata such as your app name, support email, and base URLs. The base URL is what we use to construct links in user emails — when a customer clicks a verification or password-reset link, they land on this URL.

There are separate base URL fields per identity type (Corporate / Consumer / BuyerBuyer A business entity in the Payment Run solution that can be provided with financial services to perform embedded payment runs. Buyers are onboarded through a KYB process and can create payment runs to pay their suppliers. They have roles such as Admin, Controller, and Creator.). Keys

Configuration > General > Keys is where you find the credentials your code needs to call our APIs and SDKs:

  • API key — server-side credential for calling the MultiMulti Weavr Multi is an embedded finance solution that allows you to integrate financial services into your own application, providing a seamless experience for your customers. It enables you to offer managed accounts, managed cards, and transactions without requiring financial expertise. API and Back-office API.
  • UI keyUI key A public key that authorizes Weavr's Secure UI components — the inputs and displays in our Web, Android, iOS, and React Native SDKs that handle passwords, PINs, card details, and KYC/KYB flows. Unlike the API key, the UI key isn't an API credential; you don't call REST endpoints with it. It's safe to embed in client-side code, and Sandbox and Live each have their own UI key. — client-side credential for initializing our Secure UI components.

Pass these IDs in the request body when you create the matching object so we know which template to apply.

Authentication

Configure how your end-customers authenticate. The Portal exposes three providers; you typically use one at a time:

  • Weavr (Configuration > General > Auth > Weavr) — the default. Customers authenticate with our Secure UI password and SMS-OTP factors.
  • Twilio (Configuration > General > Auth > Twilio) — bring your own Twilio account for SMS delivery.
  • Biometric (Configuration > General > Auth > Biometric) — turn on biometric step-up for our iOS, Android, and React Native SDKs. The screen also shows the biometric public key you'll need when verifying biometric step-ups server-side.

For each authentication method you can configure factor levels — what factor is required to read account information, initiate a payment, or manage beneficiaries. The defaults are sensible; only change them if you have a specific reason.

SCIM

Configuration > General > SCIM (when enabled for your programmeProgramme A programme represents your application within Weavr. Everything you create — Identities, Instruments, Transactions — sits beneath a Programme. When you register as an Embedder, you receive a Programme in the Sandbox and, once approved, one in Production.) lets you provision users from your IdP. Set up a domain and connect SCIM after talking to Weavr support — SCIM is opt-in.

Identities

Corporate profileProfile A template defining the configuration for one type of object — corporate identity, consumer identity, managed account, managed card, transfer, or outgoing wire transfer. Configuration > Identities > Corporate controls how corporate identities behave — KYBKYB Know Your Business - the identity verification process for corporate identities. This process allows you to seamlessly and securely verify your business customer's identity. Weavr will ask users to submit the necessary information and documentation so that they can get approved by financial providers. rules, supported registration countries, supported company types, root userRoot user The individual who creates the identity. For corporate identities, the root user needs to be a legal representative of the corporate such as a director or a representative who has the power of attorney over the company. Configuration > Identities > Consumer is the equivalent for consumer identities — KYCKYC Know Your Customer - the identity verification process for consumer identities. This process allows you to seamlessly and securely verify your user's identity. Weavr will ask users to submit the necessary information and documentation so that they can get approved by financial providers. rules, supported countries, custom fees, and authentication factors.
